Shalini Shares How Yoga Rejuvenated Her
I used to do gymnastics when I was a kid. In fact, I was among the best in my class.
But one fine day while practicing some backflips, I hurt my hip.
The X-rays detected a hairline fracture and I had to give up practice for at least six months.
So, when I went back my flexibility was lost. It affected my morale to such an extent that I eventually gave it up.
Years passed.
Then one time, when I was in my high school, a yoga session was organized by our school.
While I was doing Yoga that day, I felt something that I hadn’t felt in years. It was like reuniting with a lost passion.
That was when I started practicing regularly. It rejuvenated me in a way nothing else could. It made me happy and relaxed. The positivity it brought in me was evident, not only physically, but also mentally.
Ever since that, I have been a Yoga enthusiast. I even completed on an amateur level and won much recognition. But what’s more important is the peace it brings me when I practice every evening.
