Aylin Shares Why Her YTT Was Truly a Life-changing Feeling

I don’t really know where to begin, so let’s go back to 1996 when I was born.

I grew up in Stockholm where was raised by my mom since my parents divorced when I was at the age of three.

From an early age, she made it very clear to me that kindness and love is the key to everything in this world. She taught me to always trust my instincts, listen to my inner child and be my own best friend. She first introduced me to yoga when I was 6 years old where I got familiar with the very basics.

My mother was and still is an entrepreneur and has therefore traveled a lot, especially to China for work.

This is where I explored my interest in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine at the age of 10 and my interest has been strong ever since.

I am now studying my final and third year of traditional Chinese medicine in Stockholm.

I must say that the yoga teacher training was one of my best experiences ever.

I went to India to do my yoga teacher training in September 2018 and I must say that it was one of my best experiences ever.

The feeling of being calm and free within myself was truly a life-changing feeling.

I learned a lot during that month but one thing that really got me thinking was when I realized: yoga is manifested in everything and everything is manifested in yoga.

During the meditation classes, I was drawn back to memories, when I had been practicing other sports because I remembered that the “yoga-mindset”, as I call it, was there, always.

The focus of being aware right here, right now, at this moment is what you need to become really good at something.

I mean, you can find yoga in martial arts, in dance, in gymnastics, in football and even in the gym.

People over Instagram has been asking me for advice regarding so many different things and that is the reason why I keep practicing and why I want to share my thoughts and words worldwide.

I want to help and make a difference.
